I'm a little over half way done with this book and I have to say the H & H are horrid characters. The hero is forever running of their heroine. He's not likable. I know it's typical harlequin, but I absolutely hate how all he has to do is touch her and she forgets why she's so mad at him (usually with good reason). The heroine is as bad, but I really couldn't care what happens to her at this point. There is no chemistry between the characters. I'm only finishing this because I've forced myself to get this far. If it weren't for the previous stories I'd have returned it by the time she goes back to Melio.Sad this book is such a let down after a wonderful book 1 & 2 in the series.

The Italian Virgin Princess Mills Boon comics eBook Jane Porter Rin Tanaka Reviews
I liked the story and the premise, seriously how often is the hero the only one apologizing, but ugh Joelle, what a spoiled naive selfish bratling. She had no backbone, being stubborn in order to be selfish is not backbone it's selfishness, the hero was ultra domineering and if you like a masculine man who pushes and doesn't wilt when you push back, Leo's your man. In fact he seems the type who wouldn't be scared of a strong woman, and he deserved better than miss whiney pants, oh whoa is me I have to grieve in public, no kidding, so did I when my mom passed everyone who loses someone is on display, that's no excuse to run away from your responsibilities like a willful child. My last thought is she would make a horrible queen, oh look it's adversity watch me sneak out the back...
I really have very little positive words to describe this particular story. Two of the most horrible characters I have ever read about. Heroine was inmature, selfish and at times boring. Hero was a complete manipulator, controlling. I never bought the love they felt for one another, she loved him after a one night stand without no particular reason besides him being her first. He refered to her youth so much that at points at though of him as a pedophile, sure she was old enough but she did not act like such. Never did, not even at the end. Horrible story, even worse characters.
was good. I gave it a four star rating because the characters were good together. I wish there would have more repartee between the hero and heroine, but all in all good story. I love Jane Porter's books. I always choose her books.
Very good book I am going to read the others in the series. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
A fantastic story, with a flowing story line. The story of Prince Leo and princess Noelle. An arranged marriage Leo sets out to check on his future bride. Discovers something he didn't intend to. I love all the bantering back and forth. And I cried towards the end. A must read in this series.
I totally enjoyed this story - It kept me engaged, drawn into the life of the Princess. The steamy sex scenes were awesome! Thanks, Jane Porter, for your wonderful storytelling!
Flirting with Forty The Italian's Virgin Princess led me to read another Jane Porter novel, Flirting with Forty. I relived my own recent island experiance and surf lessons (sans the cool, handsome, younger surf instructor-turned-lover) and enjoyed the story of a woman's fierce determination to make it through adversity, the struggles of relationship, and a deep caring and sense of self.
I liked this couple, both passionate, I liked that the Hero kept on till he found a way to make this relationship work, it had
an interesting angle, that being Royal would be to the average person so cool with all the perks...wealth, prestige, beautiful homes
etc. but we don't often realize the down side and with Joelle, it really brought it to light.....I liked her spirit trying so hard to
be a regular person and succeeding...I liked her soft heart....the hero gave her a chance to grow..I think
you would like this story very much! Great afternoon or nighttime read!
